Community Car Scheme Drivers - February

Introducing you to our Community Car Scheme Drivers!

These are the amazing volunteers that take residents of Rhayader & District to hospital and other health-related appointments, safely helping people get to where they need to go to improve their health & wellbeing.

In February they accommodated 97 trips, travelling 4255 miles and donating 182 hours of their time, to health settings including Hereford Hospital, Aberystwyth Bronglais, Llandrindod Hospital, Dialysis, Brecon, Shrewsbury.....anywhere anyone needed to go.

This is a fantastic achievement, a massive thank you to you all!

Thanks also to Bryntitli Wind Farm and Rhayader Town Council for granting and facilitating some funding to provide our drivers with 1st Aid Kits and Road Emergency Packs.
